The huge amount of victims exposed to Asbestos without protection, and without knowledge of the deadly hazards, is overwhelming. Congress is still trying to figure out how to handle the huge amount of plaintiffs and their families. These victims and their families have rights.
Some have abused the legal system trying to make a buck on the victims or the companies that employed them. It is important that Legislative reform address the issue of individuals abusing the court system for their own financial gain. These false claims make it more difficult for real victims to be compensated for their health problems.
Recently in the news this issue is in the forefront, as more and more victims come forward, after being exposed many years ago.
